NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS PROGRESS

As the month of January draws to a close, it is wise to actually check on the progress of the item’s we’ve listed in our New Year’s Resolution.  And yes, we all know that most people wrote down weight loss or weight management as part of that list which almost always translates to going back to the gym or changing our eating habits. Yeah, that’s the reason January is always the peak season for fitness gyms.

While most people are trying to lose weight primarily for health reasons, others are motivated by vanity. Heck! We all want to look and feel good so that’s very much valid. Others who have looking good as a reason, may be preparing for once in a lifestyle events like a debut, sweet sixteen or even a wedding when one gets to finally wear an eternity band. Whatever your goal is, it is best to revisit your target and find out how much progress you’ve achieved.

Start by going back to your ideal weight and then your current weight. List down all the things you’ve done in order to move the needle towards your ideal weight. This will also be the best time to think about your mishaps and what normally leads to it. Do not be dishearten if you think you’re doing a lousy job, just keep your focus and make sure not to commit the same mishaps.
